2. Print the Box Template
Print one of the box templates onto cardstock. You can use paper if you don’t have cardstock and glue it to a thin cardboard box for stability.
3. Cut out the Box Template
Using scissors or a craft knife, cut out the box template along the solid lines.
4. Fold Tabs and Sides
Line up a ruler along the dotted lines and use the flat edge to fold up the tabs and side seams. Then use a bone folder (or the handle of your scissors) to press along the seams and create a nice clean creased fold.
4. Glue the Side Tabs
Use a glue stick to glue the side tabs and adhere them to the inside of the box side panels.
5. Decorate the Top
Add a personal touch to your DIY gift box with some simple decore. You can use stamps, stickers, or even write a personal message on the top.
6. Fill with Goodies
Fill your DIY template box with some gift basket crinkle filler and some sweet treats. Now give to someone you love!
